In the pictures above you see the fruit trees the way they come in bare root.
By the way.... You must have your hole dug before you get your fruit trees.
In the next picture you see the way we want them to be cut back before you plant them. That way when they grow and have fruit they will be short enough for you to pick without a 6 foot ladder.

The Blueberries are in and ready to go in to our special blueberry soil

Join our Email list.

If you would like to get an occasional email telling you when we have something special going on simply fill in this email form. We are asking for your city and zip code so that we can send you a special email if we need to. Sometimes we have very limited something special and we would only send to local folks or others who want to know "Everything"

If you check the Everything box we'll let you know any special that comes up. You choose if you want to drive down or not. If you don't check this box you would only get a special email if it applied to your area.

Either way don't expect lots of emails...I don't have time and neither do you. Thanks, Evelyn

When you fill it in you will get an email back.

Be sure and return that email to complete your registration. This double step helps deter spammers coming in. Of course we would never ever share your name or sell your names. (Actually only once did someone ask to use our list and of course we said"no"
!!

Evelyn

We promise that each email will have some helpful gardening hints, information on what is going on and most important we won't annoy you with an email every week.

We like to feel a personal relationship with our customers and knowing your name and where you live makes us feel more connected.
We appreciate your taking the time reading our emails
Thanks, Evelyn and Mary

What to do when your tuberous begonias goes into winter. Tuberous begonia growing pages
This is in three pages but there are links to all of them or go to the learning center box above and choose the one you want.

group meeting areaOur club/group meeting area is up and ready for your group.
To find out how your group can take advantage of this area and how to book your group for either a walk around tour or a special demonstration click on club meeting page. Of course we are always happy to have any group come and just visit without any extra help. Our plants just love to be admired.

You can always email us or phone during weekdays and talk to someone. [closed Tuesdays] Our phone number at the nursery is 760 436 2194 ...
Our actual address is 695 Normandy Rd. Encinitas, CA 92024
When you call and don't get an answer or get a message, here's why.
Sometimes we are where we don't hear the phone, sometimes two of the three lines are busy and the phone rolls to the third line. Can't put an answering machine message on that line and we keep resisting one of those annoying "your call is important to us" set ups. Even if you don't get an answer keep trying the 760 436 2194 number and you'll get us eventually.
Quick driving instructions... Interstate 5 between Leucadia and La Costa exits---We are on the corner of Piraeus and Normandy.[ 695 Normandy] on the east side of the freeway. Piraeus is the name of the frontage road. It only goes between those two exits. Map

Be sure to check and see that we are on your 'not junk' or accept list. Check your "in box" and your Junk box to make sure you get our mail. Lots of mailings come back as 'over quota. Print out and delete all those good jokes and bring them in to me.

If you would like to know the background of Weidners and how we got started go to The Story and read all about it.

Please remember to add these two addresses to your "accept mail" or whatever your program has so that your message from us doesn't get tossed into Junk. Evelyn@weidners.com and staff@weidners.com
