Welcome to Weidners Gardens Southern California's
most beautiful garden center
The nursery is more beautiful every day. Impatiens, Fuchsias, the Non Stop Begonias .Hydrangeas, People are already digging for non stop begonias now and the first of the giant variety are showing flower. The Begonia Celebration event is June 27 and 28th. The Begonia field will be in perfect bloom and we expect to sell out by the end of the summer. There are lots more beautiful plants for you to enjoy..
See more about the new and special plants that are ready now.
Why is the Begonia Field smaller than it used to be? Here is the answer.
The Begonia Field Story
When we first started in 1973 the Dig Your Own Field was almost the only thing we had. The seedling begonias were very inexpensive then. Over the years they have gotten more expensive(what hasn't) and we have so many of the Non-Stops that come out of the greenhouses as early as March. We can no longer afford to have thousands of begonias left over at the end of the season. We also are using some of that land for other plants to give you a bigger variety to choose from.
Our goal is to have plenty for you to dig at the Begonia Celebration time and then be almost sold out by the end of the season. It's abit like trying to match toast and jam but we are trying.
Remember 9 am to 5 pm. Closed Tuesdays!
Our address is 695 Normandy Rd., Encinitas, CA.

Tuesdays] Our phone number at the nursery is 760 436 2194 ...
Our actual address is 695 Normandy Rd. Encinitas, CA 92024
When you call and don't get an answer or get a message, here's why.
Sometimes we are where we don't hear the phone, sometimes two of the three
lines are busy and the phone rolls to the third line. Can't put an answering
machine message on that line and we keep resisting one of those annoying
"your call is important to us" set ups. Even if you don't get an
answer keep trying the 760 436 2194 number and you'll get us eventually.
Quick driving instructions... Interstate 5 between Leucadia and La Costa

the east side of the

goes between those two exits. Map
