Saturday, May 20 at 10:00 am Join Mia McCarville as she teaches you how to create a backyard habitat for beneficial birds and insects. These lovely critters are a pleasure to watch, plus can help with everything from natural pest control to pollination. Class is free to attend and no reservations are required. Karina will have a fun craft table until 4:00 pm for the kids plus face painting from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm! Jim Bethky will show off his incredible collection of creepy crawlers and each kid gets a mini cup of ladybugs to take home.
Saturday, April 30th Spring is here and it’s time to celebrate! Come to the nursery and bask in the wonderful bright colors. For our open house, we will be holding free greenhouse and growing ground tours just like we do during the holiday season, only this time you'll get to see all of our beautiful color pots and baskets. Tours will be held at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Saturday.

Join 'Queen of Succulents' Debra Lee Baldwin at Weidner's Gardens for a fun and friendly spring succulent container garden workshop. Debra will share design secrets for effective succulent plant-pot pairings and show how to create a dazzling spring succulent display. Then she and Sabine Hildebrand, Weidner's on-staff succulent specialist, will help you select and fill the container of your choice (from Weidner's inventory) with colorful long lasting succulents.
